Harald has been working on innovative solutions for the public and private sector since 2001. Before founding Nivel he was a Smart City Adviser to the city of Stavanger in Norway. He has also served as a board member for Kolumbus, the public transportation administration (PTA) of the Rogaland county in Norway, and has extensive experience from both sides of the table in public procurement processes. Braedon develops Nivel’s analytics products and the data back-end to support them. He brings extensive experience working for private and public mobility projects in the US, Asia and Europe and hopes to make shared mobility convenient, accessible and unobtrusive for all. Braedon is based in Tokyo - taking full advantage of the city’s ultra-convenience while enjoying the beautiful nature just a stones throw away. His recent hobbies include sports yabusame (competitive horseback archery), going to hot springs and travelling with his wife and two children. Knut Solvig is a policy advisor for Nivel. He has a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Stavanger. He started out as an intern, where he researched the e-scooter market in Norway and how Norwegian municipalities handled the increasing pressure. After his internship, Knut started working for Nivel in a part-time position. Knut is currently undertaking a Masters degree in Digital Society and Societal Transformations at the University of Stavanger. Knut is working from our offices in Stavanger. Stefan has been working for 10+ years on innovative solutions for smart cities. He has advised several private as well as municipally owned corporations like Alliander on a wide range of topics from open architecture data platforms to EV charging infrastructures. This experience has led him to become the vice-chairman of the German Smart City Association. He is now leading the way toward ethical smart cities and has published a number of specialist articles about the ethically responsible handling of data and the digital sovereignty of municipalities. Franziska mainly focuses on Nivel’s business opportunities in the German market. In addition, she supports the team in business development and marketing strategies. She was born and raised in Germany and moved to Norway to pursue a MSc program in Business Administration with a specialisation in Strategic Marketing and Analytics at the University of Stavanger. Beside her studies she is working from our office in Stavanger. In her freetime Franziska enjoys the beautiful nature around Stavanger. Alec focuses on marketing and seeks out growth opportunities for Nivel. Originally from Utah, Alec moved to Norway to pursue a Master Degree in Business Administration with a specialisation in Marketing and Analytics at the University of Stavanger. During his master's studies, he undertook an internship with Nivel, gaining a profound understanding of the importance of sustainable and innovative businesses. With marketing managerial experience, Alec is happy to be on the Nivel team to continue to help create sustainable cities through digital regulations. Alessandra is a policy advisor at Nivel. She has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Verona and is now completing a Master's degree in International Management at the University of Trento. Alessandra began as an intern at our Stavanger office, focusing on the Italian market, researching how micromobility services are regulated in Italian cities. She now works part-time from Italy. Mathias has been working for the public transport administration authority Kolumbus, as a service designer and business developer. During his work, he observed how most municipalities still address regulation from a centuries-old standpoint. With his technical background, he builds Nivel to enable cities to replace static rules written on paper with software to fine-tune them dynamically.
