With the Poor Parking App, both citizens and public officials can report scooters that are poorly parked. The app was originally developed in cooperation with the city of Bergen in Norway, as part of the pilot project on electric scooter regulation, but is now already being used in a number of cities.
Those cities, such as Bergen, Stavanger, Oslo and Sarpsborg, who also use the web-based Nivel Regulator receive an overview of the reported parking violations, including photos and locations of the scooters. Cities can track how quickly and reliably operators respond to parking violations.
The scooter companies receive an automatic notification that a parking violation has been reported and can fix it. If you represent a micromobility operator and have questions about a notification, please firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for helping to keep our cities tidy!
